Preston Local News: Reigning Champions In The Bakery, Sainsbury’s Preston Take 2nd Place

Reigning champions in the bakery at Sainsbury’s Preston took 2nd place with a smile.

Sainsbury’s Preston took part in a Super Saturday challenge across all Sainsbury’s stores within the region to see who can sell the most of one product.

This week it was Hot Cross Buns but they didn’t quite live up to their expectations.

Colleagues at Sainsbury’s in Preston previously came top of the region for the sales of products like tiger bread and apple pies.

But unfortunately this time they moved down a place and came 2nd on the region.

However they had lots of fun letting customers try before they buy, and this is still a big achievement for the store coming 2nd place out of 22 stores.
